Monday marks a watershed moment in my life. Something I have wanted to do all my life. Ever since I graduated from college. In fact, when people ask me what I would do differently if I could go back to college, I constantly find myself saying the same thing. Well, in 3 months, I will no longer be able to say that. I am finally learning how to code!
Starting Monday, for the next 3 months, I will be heads down in the depths of javascript and ruby on rails at a bootcamp at General Assembly, working side by side, with 20 other wannabe developers like myself. How does it feel? It feels exciting, overwhelming, and scary at the same time! But mostly, I echo Lucille's sentiments below:
For those who are not aware of what in the world is a coding bootcamp and why am I returning to school ONCE AGAIN, here is a Bloomberg article summarizing the rise of these schools in the last 5 years.
I will do my best to update on the developments over the next few weeks!
Ciao!
