One to one, one to many, many to many, one way, two way are all the different ways one can define a relationship. Until today, I had only understood this as they pertained to humans. Starting today, I will only think about them as relationships between data models and whether they need to be embedded or referenced. I have spent the last 24 hours building and appreciating the complexity of one to many relationships (for example: a facebook user has many posts and one post may have many comments). After pulling almost all of my hair out, I finally understand how to define these relationships and use them to show relational content on the page!
